It is impossible to stroll through the city without seeing some of them. There are trees, fountains, lakes, works of art and flowers, lots of flowers. Ideal places to walk, run, have a picnic, sunbathe or simply contemplate life.
We have chosen 7 of them for you to visit. They are well-located in the center and the visit can be combined with your other interests. The Park des Buttes-Chaumont is the farthest, near the Cemetery du Père Lachaise, but so beautiful that deserves your visit.
The beautiful Jardin des Tuileries, in the city center, between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde is a visit you can’t miss!
Each season, a different garden… in the summer, a theme park is installed. In the autumn, the leaves fallen day after day compose true colourful carpets. In the spring, the climax is the beauty of flowers with vivid colours and unforgettable scents. In the winter, the scenery becomes almost monochromatic, sharing the dark branch hues with the greyish sky.

Although open permanently, many prefer to visit the Jardins du Trocadéro in the afternoon. This is because you can still get in the light of day to stroll, relax and wait for every different scenery that forms with the fall of the night. Watching the progressive lighting of the tower is truly unforgettable!
While you wait, you have enough distraction: the gardens slope down the small hill and reach the Seine. You have options for small tortuous paths or go through the water mirror from where water jets are sent towards the tower.
If you planned to visit the Eiffel Tower during the day, choose to arrive by the Trocadéro. You have a breathtaking view, the gardens are very nice with open lawns and benches for a stop. You arrive at the Tower crossing the Pont d'Iena.

One of the most elegant parks of Paris, located in a noble area of the city, satisfies all tastes and ages. For the kids there is a party: carousel, cotton candy, kiosks for fast snacks, lake with ducks, skating rink and much more ... For us, "great", safe, relaxing, flowery, ... all good!
Very well taken care of, with the advantage of offering ample hours for visitation, you can include it in your itinerary, before or after your visit to the Arc de Triomphe. It is a short and pleasant walk.
