despite open permanently, many prefer to visit the Jardins du Trocadéro at dusk. This is because you can still arrive with daylight to stroll, relax and wait for each different scenario that forms as night falls. Watch The progressive lighting of the tower is truly unforgettable!
While you wait, you have enough distraction: the gardens slope down to the small hill and reach the Seine. You have options for small tortuous paths or passing by the water mirror from where water jets are launched towards the tower.

If you planned to visit the Eiffel Tower during the day, choice arrive via Trocadéro. You have an impressive view, The gardens are very nice with lawns open and banks to a stop. You reach the Tower by crossing the Ponte d´Iena.
Before or after visiting the Tower, you can still choose some nearby museums or take the route to reach Jardins du Champ de Mars (another large and pleasant green area of Paris, with great views of the Eiffel Tower).
There are some museums very close to the Palais de Chaillot off the beaten path that are worth visiting if you are interested in anthropology: Musée de L'Homme ( features the range of historical diversity and cultural of human race) and Muséeu Guimet - National Museum of Asian Art, (dissemination of the art, archeology and ethnography of the East. There are also two other excellent, well-known ones that are just a short walk away. Depending on your time we recommend you visit - Palais Tokyo (Musée d'Art Moderne) and museum du quai Branly (Museum of the Arts and Civilizations of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas).
