JARDINS DU TROCADÉRO

Although open permanently, many prefer to visit the Jardins du Trocadéro in the afternoon. This is because you can still get in the light of day to stroll, relax and wait for every different scenery that forms with the fall of the night. Watching the progressive lighting of the tower is truly unforgettable!

While you wait, you have enough distraction: the gardens slope down the small hill and reach the Seine. You have options for small tortuous paths or go through the water mirror from where water jets are sent towards the tower.

If you planned to visit the Eiffel Tower during the day, choose to arrive by the Trocadéro. You have a breathtaking view, the gardens are very nice with open lawns and benches for a stop. You arrive at the Tower crossing the Pont d'Iena.

Before or after visiting the Tower, you can still choose some nearby museums or take the route until you reach the Jardins du Champ de Mars (another large and pleasant green area of Paris with great views of the Eiffel Tower).

There are some museums very close to the Palais de Chaillot outside the itinerary of tourists that are worthwhile if you are interested in the area of anthropology: Musée de L'Homme (presents the range of historical and cultural diversity of the human race) and Muséeu Guimet - Museum National Museum of Asian Art, (popular art, archeology and ethnography of the Orient.) There are also two other excellent, well-known, and which are a short walk away.Depending on your time we recommend you visit - Palais Tokyo (Musée d ' Art Moderne) and Musée du quai Branly (Museum of Arts and Civilizations of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas).
